If you’re in the US, I hope your enjoying your holiday weekend as much as I am!

I’ve been in Las Vegas for almost 10 days now. Quite by “coincidence”, I learned on Tuesday that one of my dear friends, Socrates Socratous, was going to be spending the weekend here with his girlfriend.

They’re two of our favorite people and we always have a blast just hanging out!

We spent the 4th at Lake Las Vegas. It’s an amazing complex that resembles a quaint Mediterranean village.

After having a few drinks and a light dinner, we attended the America concert on the water, followed by fireworks.

I’m sure you know of the group, America. They’re the guys who sang “Horse With No Name” about 15 or 20 years ago. Other hit songs include “Sister Golden Hair” and “California Dreamin’”.

Almost the entire night, I literally had goose bumps just thinking about the wonderful experience we were having.

I couldn’t help remembering that only a few short years ago dropping the kind of cash we spent yesterday while strolling through the shops, eating in the casino restaurant, and buying tickets to the concert, would have been COMPLETELY impossible.

Back then, we literally had to scrimp and save for every single penny.

Back then, I was so sick that even if we had the cash to have an amazing time, I most certainly would not have been able to enjoy even a minute of it.

Strolling through a replica of a Meditteranean Village would have been impossible as well, unless I had rolled through it in my wheelchair.

Thinking about these things makes me ever so grateful for the blessings that I have received over the last few years, starting with the “miracle” that saved my life!

You can’t imagine the sense of pride that I felt when my husband turned to me and thanked me for such an awesome weekend!

Knowing that without my business, none of it would have been possible, made me proud to have accomplished so much in such a short period of time!

Isn’t it everyone’s dream to have their family and loved ones think they did a great job at something?

Wouldn’t you be grinning from ear to ear if your significant other said not only “Thank You”, but “Hey, Great Job!”?

As we watched one of the most spectacular fireworks shows I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing, tears welled up in my eyes.

Not tears of sadness, but tears of joy.

Tears that come from feeling not just a sense of accomplishment, but also a feeling of true and complete satisfaction, knowing that we are really living the life of our dreams right now.

Wow! Just think … ANYONE can live the life of their dreams if they just have the “secret” to success!

If you didn’t have to work a regular J.O.B. for someone else …

If you didn’t have to struggle to get a single visitor to your website …

If you didn’t have to fret over whether or not you’d be able to convert a visitor into a customer …

If you didn’t have to worry about how you were going to pay your mortgage this month (or next!) …

Wouldn’t life be SO MUCH easier?
Wouldn’t you be SO MUCH happier?
Wouldn’t you finally start to relax and enjoy life a little?

Call me an old “softie” if you want, but to me, that’s what life is really all about!

And, for me, it’s not enough to simply be happy with this kind of life for myself.
