Ever since my miraculous transformation a few years ago, I completely avoid watching the news, listening to the news on the radio, and reading the newspapers.
Within the last month, you downloaded my “Affiliate Hub System” ebook. In it, you should have learned just how much Facegook can help when you’re building a business online.
Book cover via AmazonI’m not sure what was going on this week, but it seems like I talked to more whiners and complainers than ever in just a few short days!
Don’t you hate it when people complain all the time?
It makes me want to shake them until they wake up and see that the reason they’re not getting any results is because all they’re doing is complaining!
This past summer, Jon Gordon came out with a great book called “The No Complaining Rule” that’s all about getting rid of negativity in the workplace.
One of the biggest points that he makes in the book is that you’ve got to look at things as either “Have To’s” or “Get To’s”.
Those things that you HAVE to do are very few in number. They include only dying and if you live in the US, paying taxes.
Everything else is a “Get To”. In other words everything else is a PRIVILEGE!
… You GET TO have your own business, so it’s a privilege to be able to figure out how to make it successful.
… You GET TO have kids of your own to raise, so it’s a privilege to be able to deal with their crap.
… You GET TO have a car to drive, so it’s a privilege to need gas to put into it.
When you realize that everything is a PRIVILEGE and not something that you have to do, you tend to appreciate the challenges as they come up. Read more
Image via WikipediaI’m sitting outside of JV Alert after a jam packed weekend of information.
A few of my friends and a couple of the people I met this weekend are joining me for dinner at the Grand Lux Cafe in the Palazzo in just a few minutes. But, before I head off, I wanted to share some REALLY important tips that I picked up this weekend with you …
There were some great people here this weekend like Mari Smith (the Facebook Expert), Dr. Ron Capps (the Niche Professor and a web 2.0 expert), Willie Crawford and way too many more to list here.
Over the weekend, there was one thing that just about every speaker and every panelist agreed on. And let me tell you — that doesn’t happen very often, either!
The one thing that everyone agreed on was that if you want to be successful online, you MUST be using web 2.0. More specifically, you have GOT to be using blogs, Facebook, and Twitter.
I can’t agree with these folks more, either.
That’s why I created a product about this exact subject. It shows you how to use a blog at the heart of your traffic generation system to get 1,000 to 5,000 unique visitors to your day every day and THEN to use that blog on your Facebook profile to drive super-responsive, laser-targeted visitors to your site over and over again.
I mentioned this to you a few weeks back, but after hearing everyone talking about this exact topic this weekend, I knew that I needed to do something special to share this information with you …
What a week it’s been! As we made our way across the country — from Indiana to Las Vegas — we had one issue come up after another.
What have you done that has made a real difference in the world?
If you’re sitting there struggling to answer that question, then isn’t it about time that you did SOMETHING — ANYTHING! — to make a difference?
If you have already made a difference in the world (and I’m talking about some significant impact, not just answering the question with a smart remark like “Well I’m alive! Isn’t that enough?”), then good for you!
In my last email, I told you about Blog Action Day 2008 that happens tomorrow, October 15th. It’s a day where bloggers throughout the blogosphere are uniting to become the voice that is propogating prosperity worldwide.
I’ve set up a joint venture with the folks at 10 Million Clicks For Peace that will allow those participating in Blog Action Day 2008 to also become a voice for peace at the same time. It doesn’t require any additional effort whatsoever. But the impact will be MUCH greater!
To help you be a part of this project, I’m holding a teleconference today at 4:00 pm eastern to help you get your blog ready for Blog Action Day 2008 and to share strategies for driving as much traffic as possible to your blog tomorrow.
Of course, you’re free to use these same strategies on Thursday and beyond, too, so that you can build a business from all the traffic you’ll be getting!
This is NOT the kind of call where I show you how to set up Read more
(I’ve got some really important news for you in aminute. You’ll find it just below my apology. )
Ooops! I hate it when my assistant, Shelby, is busier than usual because little details can sometimes slipthrough the cracks.

UPCOMING EVENTS – WEEK OF OCTOBER 12, 2008:
I recently got an email from my buddy, Jeff Dedrick. His subject line read only “bad news on two levels”. Lower Case characters, no punctuation, no first name.
Of course, I immediately assumed that something had to be wrong with either Jeff or one of my other friends, so I opened it right away.
Luckily, my first assumption was dead wrong! Here’s what Jeff had to say …
“Have you ever had a chance to pick up an awesome deal at a store only to go there and they are sold out?
“Well, this is even worse.
“Not only is this going to be gone soon but the price is going up every minute.
“That’s right…the price is going up every minute that you wait.”
Of course, since my heart was still thumping, I just had to click the link! And boy am I ever glad that I did!
The only thing that turned out the be “WRONG” was that apparantly
