Back in May, I declared it to be “Joint Venture” month.  For the next 4 weeks, I taught you about joint ventures, how they worked, how you could use them to grow your business, etc.  I started hearing stories from people who had applied what I shared with great results.  I hope you got as much out of that “theme month” as they did!  I really enjoyed it as well!

As we get things underway with the shift to Directions University, I thought it might be equally fun (and profitable) to have another THEME month!  So

I thought long and hard about what the theme should be …

For the last week or so, I’ve really put a lot of thought into what “one thing” I could teach you that would have the greatest impact on your business.  Now let me tell you, that is not the easiest thing in the world to identify.  As you probably have already found out for yourself, there is SO MUCH to know in order to really find success in a business!

You’ve got to understand …

*  What niche to go into (you’d better at least be able to talk like an expert about the topic AND there had better be plenty of people with money already interested in it!)

*  What products to sell (you’d better be picking something that people are already buying or you’re
really going to have to work hard!)

*  How to grow a list and build a relationship with the subscribers (as everyone says “the money’s in the list!” so this one is crucial!)

*  How to drive traffic to your website (and it can’t be just ANY traffic, either — it’s got to be the RIGHT
traffic, and you’ve got to have the RIGHT message on the site too!)

*  How to put up a website that actually converts (The technical issues are bad enough — but you’ve also got to make sure that it actually gets people to CLICK the ORDER button or it’s not going to make you a dime!)

*  And SO MUCH more!

The thing of it is, if you really think about it, every one of these is tied together …   It really boils down to 2 basic things:

1)  You need PEOPLE to talk to
2)  You need PRODUCTS to sell them

That’s it!

All of the rest of the things you need to know, all stem from one of these — PEOPLE or PRODUCTS. That made my decision MUCH easier! The ONE THING that I can teach you that will have THE BIGGEST impact on actually making YOU money is …

BLOGGING!

You see, when you have a blog, you don’t have the technical issues at all.  If you can use Microsoft Word, you can be a blogger.  When you have a blog, you instantly have a way to drive tons of traffic — AND, the visitors you get are the RIGHT visitors, so long as you are using the RIGHT keywords.  (Since my blogging system already takes that into account, your blog posts automatically attract the right visitors!)

When you have a blog, you also have a way to grow a list!  All you have to do is put an opt in box in your sidebar, add a plugin one of my students specifically

created around my blogging system, and your list grows itself.  And recently — I even found a site that takes your blog posts and turns them into a book!

You’d think something like that would cost a fortune, right?

WRONG!

For a measly $14.95 you can have your own book – one with YOUR name on it. It becomes your “Something To Sell” so you can make money from your blog.  Add a few affiliate products, and you can make TONS of money just by having a blog!

So there you have it – the ONE THING that will have the BIGGEST impact on your business …

So this month is officially the “Directions University Blogging Month”.

What does that mean to YOU?  Well, first off, it means that you’re going to need to get a blog set up. Not just any old blog, either.  I’m not talking about a blog that uses blogger.  Or even one that uses WordPress.com.

I’m talking about a blog that really gives great quality content that attracts the right people like bees to honey! You don’t need to be a great writer to do this. In fact, you can even TALK your posts instead of writing them!

In order to attract the RIGHT people, all you’ve got to do is follow a little “Magic Formula” and you’ll have people eating right out of your hand!
