I know I’ve been a bit quiet the last 8 or 9 days.  Last weekend I was busy with the whole 3 day traffic webinar.  (It was an AMAZING weekend, by the way!  Participants actually rated the experience as a 30 on a scale of 1 to 10!  I’ll let you know as soon as the recordings are available for download as these are WAY too powerful for me to keep to myself!)

Then this week I’ve been hard at work playing catch up on everything I didn’t get done because of the traffic webinar.  (How would you like to see more than 10,0000 emails in your InBox one morning? Yuck!)

AND — we’ve been getting things wrapped up so that we can get underway for Florida.  We were hoping to hit the road for sunnier, warmer (MUCH warmer!) weather today, but unfortunately, the 50 mph wind gusts here in Las Vegas are keeping us stationary for yet another day.

Between the repairs on our generator, waiting for parts, people showing up in Vegas that I wanted to see, and now the weather, I a

lmost have to wonder if we’ll ever be able to get out of here!

Why am I really looking forward to this trip in particular?

This will be the first trip where you’ll be able to follow my travel in real time (less a short delay of course, for safety purposes).  In other words, as I drive across the country you’ll be able to login at any time, day or night, and see not only where we are but also where we’ve been as well.

I’m anxious to try the feature that let’s me upload pictures along the way so that you can see some of the really cool sites that we’ll be passing through.

I’m talking about places like …

*  33 Holes National Park
*  Hoover Dam
*  The Grand Canyon
*  Crater Monument
*  The Painted Desert
*  The Petrified Forest
*  The Petroglyph National Park
*  Sandia Peak & High Finance Restaurant
*  and many more!

These are just the places will be passing between Las Vegas and Albuquerque, NM, only about 540 miles away!  I have more than 2,500 miles to go in this trip, so you can imagine how many other places we’ll be passing along the way!

We’re not in a very big hurry this trip either.  I just want to make sure that we reach our destination (Bonita Springs, FL) by December 25th.

Since we’re not in a hurry, I’m hoping that during this trip I’ll be able to make the time to meet a number of new people along the way!

Part of the reason that I’ve put up the “Where’s Gina?” page is so that you and my other customers and subscribers will be able to see when I’m in your area.

My schedule this week has me stopping in the following cities:

*  Bosier City, LA (Shreveport)

*  Tampa, FL
*  Bonita Springs, FL

I can’t tell you yet what day we will be in each city. The plan is to be in Flagstaff on Sunday, December 14 and Albuquerque on Monday, December 15.  From there it will all depend on how quickly Bill decides to get back on the road.

We are organizing a “Blogging For Peace Day” on January 21, 2009.  But if we ever hope to pull 100,000 bloggers
together on a single day, I’m going to need some help!

Right now, I have a need for 2 people.

The first would be my personal assistant in getting the project off the ground.  This person would be involved in our daily team calls with me and the other founders and would then help me to get my tasks under way.

This person would be working with me an my partners to contact bloggers and people who have access to bloggers
so that we can pull this project together.

This is a highly visible position that will have you playing a very active role in a visible way.  You will receive public recognition through our website and you will have a chance to really make a difference in the world in bringing about long term peace.

This position lasts for only about the next 6 weeks.

The second position that’s available is that of blog coordinator.  Our blog will have many different authors, each of them experts in some aspect of peace or related subjects.  These co-authors are people who have authored best selling books, have founded associations, and who have very visible positions.

The blog coordinator will be a permanent part of our team.  As the blog coordinator, you will work with these authors to coordinate their blog posts and then work with our traffic assistants to get the traffic that will pull together 100,000 bloggers in a coordinated effort to blog about peace.

I need both of these individuals to start asap!
