I’m spending my weekend at Keith Wellman’s seminar where I spoke yesterday on increasing profits by targeting your market. It was kind of like a big reunion, running into so many of my friends like …
For about the 3rd weekend in a row, I’m spending my weekend at another marketing event. I have two more weekends of the same before we leave Atlanta (including a speaking engagement at Keith
Wellman’s seminar in two weeks).
I’ve got to make this quick as Bill’s waiting in the car to go to dinner. We’re bringing little Fritz (our new dog) out to dinner with us for about the 6th time in a week, and he tends to get a bit impatient. I’ll upload a picture from my cell so you can see how good he is at restaurants! You can check it out in a bit at http://www.theimuniversity.com )
Earlier today, I was on a coaching call with a number of my students. We were talking about this weekend’s upcoming “Info Product Systems Workshop Webinar“. One of the students asked if I could show them what I meant when I had suggested that it was super easy to get other affiliates to help them build their list, especially if they used info products to do it.
What a week!
It started out on Monday in Washington, D.C. with meetings at the end of JVAlert that produced some of the biggest joint venture deals I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of!
Tuesday, I was able to rearrange my schedule to spend the entire day with my good friends, David & Susan Preson and Jason Oman (my husband, Bill and assistant, Michelle were there too!), touring all of Washington, D.C. David and I had been trying to spend a day together for quite awhile and it was truly a day that neither of us will ever forget!
The rest of the week was spent enroute to dropping Jason Oman off in Atlanta. What an amazing guy he is!
I wanted so badly for our time together to never end that I didn’t even mind Bill taking 3 1/2 days to make the 11 hour drive. We had such a GREAT time!
In case you don’t know Jason, let me tell you a bit about him. (That way you’ll understand why it was such an amazing week!)
Jason is the co-author of the best selling book, “Conversations With Millionaires”.
His book became a best seller because of the system that he used to create and launch it. That system then became the subject of a series of info products and courses that Jason created, all having to do with writing a best selling book and launching it into a best seller.
Jason’s also got a product called “Millionaire Money Formula” that I can’t recommend highly enough! It tells the story of how Jason went from being a 31 year old, near homeless loser to being a money making genius!
A little over a year ago, Jason suffered from a brain aneurysm. He was only 36 years old at the time and almost died several times because of it.
The first few months, Jason really had no memory at all. It was only with extensive therapy that he was able to regain his life.
However, even today as he gets back to work building his own business, he still suffers severely from short term memory loss.
He can remember long term without any trouble at all, so he remembers “Conversations With Millionaires”, how he built his business, how he turned his book into a best seller, all his friends from way back then, etc.
But, if you ask him what he ate for breakfast he’s likely to respond with something like, “I ate breakfast?”
Every night this past week, Jason and I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning talking, strategizing, brain storming, and exchanging ideas for our businesses.
Our conversations would go from ideas about how to improve Jason’s short term memory to strategies and systems for building businesses and writing books.
There was one thing that kept resounding in my mind over and over again all week long …
It was SO cool to see someone who had such a magnificent, positive mindset and outlook on life — even though only a short time ago, his life was almost over.
It was even more cool to realize that although he had faced significant medical bills (multiple brain surgeries can do that to you sometimes!), and although we’re in such terrible economic conditions right now, Jason never really had to worry about mo’ney at all.
No, he wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth or with rich parents.
No, his best selling book didn’t stuff his bank account with more mo’ney than he could ever spend.
What really allowed him to survive financially was the info products that he had online. The info products are what brings in cash like clock work, over and over again, week in and week out — whether he was in the hospital, in rehab, or back to work, living with the curve ball that life had thrown him.
And boy is he ever back to work! Like me, Jason also walked away from JVAlert with a few joint venture deals in his back pocket.
After spending the week with Jason, I am more excited than ever about the upcoming “Info Product SystemsWorkshop Webinar” and what it will do for each and every person who attends and applies what they learn!
We’re spending the weekend at JVAlert, so I’ve got to make this quick.
As usual, for the 4th year in a row, the motorhome had a weird issue on the trip in, making us more than a day late.
It happened in the exact same city, but on an alternate route, and it was again something that just doesn’t happen that often. I mean have you ever heard of a slide out room popping out while you’re doing 70mph? Come on!
While we were sitting on the side of the road, I got to thinking about what great bonus I could add to the upcoming “Info Product Systems Workshop Webinar” that takes place on Saturday, June 27th & Sunday, June 28th.
The package already includes so much!
… You get to learn how to create your own info products from scratch.
… You’ll learn how to work with resale rights & private label rights products to create your own products quickly.
… You’ll see how to use public domain products to boost your credibility (and sales!) to get a product of your own.
… You learn how to use audio and video to create products faster, that can be priced higher.
… You get my course, “Abundant Info Products” that comes with more than 30+ tools that you’ll need to create your
… You’ll get a free month of hosting, autoresponder, shopping cart, and affiliate program so you can get started without having to spend a cent!
… You get my course, “21 Days To Blogging Profits” so you can start driving traffic to your info products.
… You get a product that I am creating just for attendees of this workshop.
So what more can you even need?
I’m spending my day off with my good friend, Louis Burleson and his daughter, hanging out in St. Augustine, FL.
I just uploaded some pictures to my blog at www.theimuniversity.com. Take a look!
Louis and I got to talking and we ended up on the topic of business (like we often do). And, as usual, the topic turned to what to sell…
For the last 3 years, I’ve told Louis the same thing:
‘You’ve got to have a profit funnel if you expect to make money consistently.”
“But what should I sell?” was Louis’ next question.
My answer was again the same: “Info Products.”
A few years back, Louis had taken my advice. It brought in enough in sales to allow him to quit 3 full time jobs!
In fact, one month he made as much as $50,000!
But then life took a few twists and turns and pulled him in different directions. It’s now nearly 3 years later, though, and sales still trickle in every month.
So I’ve invited Louis to join me on Saturday, 6/27 and Sunday, 6/28 for “The IM University’s Info Product Systems Workshop Webinar” where he’ll learn how to … Read more
Earlier today, I was on a call with my dear friend Ken McArthur and his partners, Mark Boersma and Joyce Jackson. We were talking about what entrepreneurs need most to succeed in business…
